Anthony Franchi, Jr.
The Ellis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center welcomed Anthony (“Tony”), Jr. as the Administrator in December, 2018. Tony comes to The Ellis with over twenty (20) years experience in managing Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Inspired by family and his inherent sensitivity to the healthcare needs of society’s most vulnerable – the elderly - he was drawn to a career in long-term care, working first in many supportive positions and then culminating as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
“My introduction to nursing homes at age 16 years old, working at The Ellis as a housekeeper during summer and school vacations, mapped my career purpose in serving the elderly. As the Administrator entrusted to oversee the well-being of our residents, I always welcome the input of family and loved ones."
Min Keung Song, MD
We are proud to announce our partnership with Dr. Min Keung Song.
Dr.Song, MD, MPH, CMD currently serves as the Geriatric Medical Director at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital- Milton. He specializes in geriatric primary care, consultation, and long-term care with previous experience working in hospice. Dr. Song maintains a primary care practice on-site at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.
Director of Nursing
Carol comes to The Ellis with an established career in long term and rehabilitation care. She began her career in 1991 as a CNA and then as a Registered Nurse. Prior to her arrival at The Ellis, Carol was the Director of Nursing for two local skilled nursing facilities over a span of 23 years. Carol has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of long term care and short term rehabilitation and has become a great asset to our team.

Director of Social Services
Shannon is an experienced Licensed Social Worker who has worked with a variety of populations in the field since 2002. She has worked with the Geriatric population in the community, hospital and skilled nursing settings. Shannon has extensive experience working with individuals with Dementia and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Shannon has an Undergraduate Degree from Emmanuel College and later went on to get her Master’s Degree in Counseling. She truly enjoys helping individuals and families achieve successful outcomes.
Director of Admissions & Case Management
Kristen came to The Ellis with over 17 years experience in Admissions. She managed admissions for 14 years at a skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility in Newton and has over 10 years experience as a Case Manager. Kristen has a degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and specializes in gerontology. She enjoys helping others in the community with their transition from home life to community life. Kristen's ability to assist families and residents with sometimes difficult situations makes her uniquely qualified to manage admissions and enhance case management.
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and 2 children, Kylie and Brendon.

Diane Kuzio, PT
Director of Rehabilitation
Diane graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Her background includes clinical experience in cardiac, stroke, sports medicine, and mental retardation as well as direct therapy services in a skilled nursing and rehab environment. Diane became a manager of rehabilitation in 1993 and has continued to manage and provide services in geriatric nursing and rehabilitation. “ I found my passion working with geriatric patients in 1991. My goal is to have all patients return to their highest level of function by providing services in a positive and enriching environment.”
Sharon has been a certified Activity Director for over 15 years. She has extensive experience working with individuals with dementia. She also leads a monthly Alzheimer support group that helps families to cope and understand the disease process. “Focusing on an individual’s strength as opposed to their weakness is the key to your loved one’s health and happiness. This is their home “away” from home, and as a team, we strive to provide a comfortable and family like atmosphere. This is not just a job to me. This is a way of life that I have chosen and truly enjoy.”
Food Service Director
Andrea is a reliable and experienced Food Service Director who manages our Dining Room services and creates innovative menus for residents. She is adept at maintaining a reliable serving staff and acts as the liaison between the staff and residents. She is a most welcome addition to the staff here at The Ellis!
